Udayanath Autonomous College of Science & Technology, Cuttack, was established in the year 1987 as a private autonomous college in Adaspur, Odisha. Being an affiliated college of Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, the college provides the facilities of admission for various courses in the field of Arts, Humanities, Social Science, Science, Commerce, Management and Computer application. The college has been established with a total area of 100 acres and boasts a total of 3820 students strength and 86 faculties. The college has been accredited by the National Assessment and accreditation Council (NAAC) thus, placing it strategically in the region.

Udayanath Autonomous College of Science & Technology use facilities to improve the experience of the students. The available hostels are for the male and female students which provides a proper accommodation with security. Regular exercise is achieved by having a well equipped gym and several more sporting amenities. The college library has a central function to perform in the context that it is primarily an academic library that caters to the general academic work and study of students. Modern information technology laboratories alongside with highly equipped and functional practical facilities make up the technological environment which allows students get used to working with up-to-date equipment and developments. The college offers numbers of specialisations such as B.Sc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics Hons, Chemistry Hons, Botany Hons, Zoology, MA in Economics, Political Science, English, Odia, Sanskrit, Hindi, Sociology, Education, and BA Library & Information Science. Some of the best known courses are B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, MA, M.Sc, M.Com, and MSW courses. The college also provides programmes of Master in Finance and Control and MA Clinical Psychology.

Education in Udayanath College is equally divided into merit system for admission of the student into the college. In case of undergraduate admission, most of the students are selected on the basis of their performance in the Council of Higher Secondary Education Odisha examination. Graduate admission recognise the candidates’ performance on their specific +3 final degree examinations.
