Universal College of Engineering and Research, popularly known as UCOER, is amongst the well-known colleges in Pune, Maharashtra. The affiliated college, established in the Year 2010, is spread over 43.38 acres near Katraj New Tunnel in Sasewadi. The Institution has carved a niche for itself with its sharp identity in the domain of Engineering education and is popularly known as UCOER Pune. The College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, to maintain quality in technical education. With an enrolment of 433 students and a faculty strength of 8, UCOER, Pune offers different programs in the fields of engineering and various specializations.
The Institution has a variety of facilities to aid in developing and enhancing the experience in general of their students. College has separate boys and girls hostels, fully equipped with all the basic amenities along with comfortable living. Usually, accommodation is provided to two students in one room, and each room is accessorized with basic furniture that includes cots, tables, chairs, book racks, and cupboards. Besides spacious dining halls, mess facility is made available within the hostels. There are facilities for indoor and outdoor games, along with entertainment like TV and radio for spending leisure time. UCOER, Pune first believes in the health of the students; therefore, it has a Health Centre having first-aid facilities. The fitness lovers can spend their time in the Gym within the campus. The library of this college is a knowledge hub, stocking over 600 books on Nursing, periodicals, magazines, and reference books in both English and Marathi. Sports facilities for various indoor and outdoor games help keep a student physically fit with a rollicking spirit of teamwork.
UCOER, Pune offers a wide variety of courses in the domain of engineering at undergraduate and diploma levels. It runs a total of 7 full-time BE and diploma courses in 2 degrees, namely four-year BE courses and three-year diploma courses. The courses run are BE in Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, and Civil Engineering. The diploma courses offered include those relating to Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. These are designed to renew students with the most recent industrially relevant skills and knowledge.
