The University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) was founded in 1971 as a constituent college of the University of Delhi. It offers a wide range of medical and paramedical programmes. Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital serves as the affiliated teaching hospital, providing a total of 1526 beds for clinical training and patient care. UCMS is approved by the National Medical Commission.
UCMS Delhi offers a range of undergraduate courses, which consist of an MBBS programme as well as the B.Sc Medical Technology Radiography course. UCMS Medical College PG courses include MS/MD, PGD, and M.Sc Medical Imaging Technology Radiography. The PGD courses are offered in disciplines like Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, Ophthalmology, Child Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Radiodiagnosis and others. Additionally, UCMS Delhi also offers a doctoral course in DM Endocrinology, allowing students to further specialise in this field of study.
For admission to UCMS Delhi's UG programmes, Candidates need to take the CUET UG/NEET UG exam and attend counselling. Admission to UCMS Delhi's postgraduate programmes is based on NEET PG exam results, while admission to the DM programme is based on NEET SS results.

MBBS
- The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/12 Standard) or the equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
- NEET eligible candidate on the basis of All India Rank and Percentile of Marks obtained in the NEET (UG-2020).
Post Graduate Diploma in Radiodiagnosis
The candidate should have MBBS or equivalent degree from recognized university.
MD Anaesthesiology
Candidates must possess recognised degree of MBBS (or its equivalent recognised degree).
Post Graduate Diploma in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy
The candidate should have MBBS or equivalent degree from recognized university.
Post Graduate Diploma in Child Health
The candidate should have MBBS or equivalent degree from recognized university.
Post Graduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
The candidate should have MBBS or equivalent degree from recognized university.
Post Graduate Diploma in Ophthalmology
The candidate should have MBBS or equivalent degree from recognized university.
MD Biochemistry
Candidates must possess recognised degree of MBBS (or its equivalent recognised degree).
M.Sc Medical Imaging Technology Radiography
The Indian national who have passed Bachelor Degree in Sciences (three years course), Medical Technology (Radiography) and Medicine from a recognized University/recognized by MCI respectively.
B.Sc Medical Technology Radiography
A candidate who is an Indian citizen is eligible for admission to the course if he/she fulfills the following requirements:
- AGE ON ADMISSION: An Applicant should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on or before 31st Dec. 2018. Candidates attaining 17 years of age on 1st Jan. of the subsequent year or later will not be eligible to appear at the competitive Entrance Examination.
- The candidates must have appeared/passed XIIth class examination under 10+2 system as a regular student, conducted by the CBSE/Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination/ Jamia Milia Islamia New Delhi (Candidates who have passed 12th from Patrachar Vidhalaya or National Institute of Open Schooling will not be eligible) recognized school conducted regular classes of 11th and 12th standard & situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi only, will be eligible for admission with the required subjects i.e., Physics, Chemistry, (including Organic Chemistry), Biology (Botany and Zoology) and English (core or elective) securing minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC category candidates) in aggregate in these subjects. In respect of the candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% for Gen-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required.
- Candidates who have appeared/passed 10+2 Examination with X-ray Technology in vocational scheme conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi, with minimum 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST /OBC) will also be eligible for Entrance Examination.
- The candidate must have passed PCBE examinations both in theory and practical separately.
- Certificate/Diploma in X-ray Technology of atleast two-year duration conducted in Delhi recognized by a Board/University with minimum 50% marks.
- A candidate who has appeared in the qualifying examination, i.e. 12th standard in 2018 whose result is awaited, may also apply and appear at the entrance test but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the B.Sc. (Medical Technology) Radiology at the time of counseling on the following condition:
- If he/she does not pass the qualify examination i.e. 12th standard with a required pass percentage of marks.
- If he/she is placed under compartment.
- f he/she is re-appearing for improvement.
The candidates, who are yet to appear in the supplementary examination of the qualifying course at the time of entrance examination, shall not be considered eligible for the competitive examination.
