University Institute of Applied Management Sciences University Institute of Applied Management Sciences is an affiliated college established in 2008 in Chandigarh, India. It lies in the South Campus, behind P.U. Alumni House, Punjab University, Sector 25. Management education The management institute provides three different types of MBA courses offer 7 courses and 1 type of degree in total. With 16 faculty members, there is always a personal touch to their teaching.
UIAMS has modern facilities catering to the needs of the students for study and research. Besides, the college library subscribes to 6,50,000 books, 600 periodicals, and 535 journals, which include books related to 10,000 about management and over 100 reputed journals. The computer labs are well equipped with broadband internet connectivity and campus-wide Wi-Fi. UIAMS provides an auditorium and seminar halls with full audio-visual aids for various academic discussions and guest lectures. The classes are suitably equipped with the latest technology available in the market, which includes laptops, LCD projectors, and audio systems that create the right ambience for studying.
The University Institute of Applied Management Sciences offers 7 full-time MBA courses and each program is designed to cater to the needs of a specific industry. Such programs include MBA in Banking and Insurance Management, Capital Markets, Hospital Management, Infrastructural Management, IT and Telecommunication Management, Pharmaceutical Management, and Retail Management. Altogether the total number of approved seats from all the different specialisations in these courses amounts to 200 seats.
