Usha Dwarkadas Pathrikar Institute of Pharmacy, Aurangabad, was set up in 2016, and it is an emerging institute of pharmacy which provides pharma education. This affiliated college is spread over three acres of land situated in Dongargaon (Kawad) Phulabmri Taluka, Aurangabad District, Maharashtra. PCI-approved for pharmacy institute make sure the quality of education provided by the institute is up to par with PCI standards. The institute has 7 faculty members and 118 students, which makes it small in terms of the ratio of student to faculty member. The institute presently offers only two programme called the B.Pharma and D.Pharma, which explains the rationality behind the venture. 

Usha Dwarkadas Pathrikar Institute of Pharmacy has acquired set of facilities that are intended to maximise the learning abilities of the learners. The campus also has an auditorium for event and seminar usage as well as special events, athletic events, etc. A well-developed library facility functioning as information centre is also available where students get to find virtually any literature related to pharmacy. The college is proud of its departmental laboratory, which is the key to preparing students to become pharmacists. Since it targets to serve society in this digital age, the institute has outstanding Information Technology structure, so the students are familiar with various existing technological instruments applied in pharmaceutical firms. In order to meet the needs of students and employees of the campus, it is equipped with a cafeteria. Being an institute, emphasis is placed on health and safety with provision of health centre complete with first aid facilities for the college fraternity. 

Currently, Usha Dwarkadas Pathrikar Institute of Pharmacy has only two full-time courses offered in the institute named the D.Pharma and B.Pharma. This programme is the mainstay of the institute’s academic portfolio and has an approved annual cohort size of 60 students. The D.Pharma programme aims and objectives comprise understanding the pharmaceutical system to offer diverse occupational prospects within the specific sector or to advance their learning. A single focus on two programmes also has the benefit of providing specialised training for the students of the institute in the area of pharmacy education.
