Vidyabharti Trust Institute of Technology and Research Centre, Surat, Gujarat, established in 2008. This affiliated college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. At its different branches, this institute offers a total student enrolment of 2,048 with faculty strength of 73. VTITRC is a totally facilitated campus to provide all the latest facilities and amenities for comfortable academic and personal development. Separate boys' and girls' hostels have been provided for the comfortable stay of students who come from far-flung areas of the state. A well-stacked library is provided as a knowledge hub with more than 16,873 volumes, 3,973 titles, and a huge collection of reference books, periodicals, and digital resources. These laboratories are all well-equipped and well furnished, supporting practical learning sessions. Besides this, an integrated information technology infrastructure is also available for students. Institutes offer 9 courses-6 undergraduate and 3 postgraduate programs.

Bachelors programmes include: Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. At the postgraduate level, it offers ME programmes in Construction Engineering and Management, Production Engineering, and Signal Processing and Communications. All the undergraduate programmes are full-time courses with 4 years, whereas the graduation programmes are 2 year full-time courses. Admission in VTITRC is held online.

Undergraduate courses are admitted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses, technically known as ACPC centrally and efficiently. The applicant must have obtained at least 45% aggregate marks in his 12th science examination; SC/ST/SEBC candidates require at least 40% marks. Besides this, JEE Main examination must be attempted by the applicants. Apart from the above basis, an institute accepts GATE scores for post-graduate admissions. Non-GATE candidates who look for admission in the ME course will have only the qualifying examination marks for the base in admission.
