Vinayak College of Nursing was established in 2007 and is an affiliated college situated in Jaipur – Rajasthan. In order to facilitate the students the institution has separate hostels for boys and girls, which consist of single-seated fully furnished rooms with facilities like water purifying plants, geysers and television facilities. An adequately lit, clean and spacious canteen provides a balanced diet for people in the school, including workers as well as learners. The college library has many standard reference books, textbooks and periodicals related to nursing and health care sciences which are replenished time to time to cope with the requirements of students and faculties.
Vinayak College of Nursing offers two full-time nursing courses: Mobile numbers and E-mail Ids B.Sc. Nursing (Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a four year course) post basic B. Sc. Nursing (a four year course for diploma holders) General Nursing and Midwifery course of three years duration (GNM). These courses can accommodate one hundred students per year with forty for B.Sc Nursing and sixty for GNM. These programmes are aimed to offer profound educational base and specific competencies necessary to achieve the successful nursing activity.
The admission process of Vinayak College of Nursing differs from one programme to the other. For B.Sc Nursing candidates are admitted through B.Sc Nursing Entrance Test form Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur (RUHS). Further, there certain seats which are reserved under direct Federation or management quota and are offered on the “First Come, First Served” basis.
