Vindhya Institute of Technology and Science, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, was established in 2002. This city-leading institution has the affiliation and is approved by AICTE. It imparts different technical programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The campus is spread over 25 acres, providing an ambiance that helps in building academic excellence and all-round development. With a total enrolment of 994 students and a strength of 62 faculty members, the ratio is very healthy for each child to get good attention and quality education. 

It has well-developed infrastructure and facilities with a host of amenities related to academics, sports, and extra-curricular activities to develop the overall personality of students. It has well-equipped laboratories in different disciplines of Engineering to develop hands-on practical experience apart from theoretical knowledge taught in the classroom. The central library with over 48,296 volumes acts as a knowledge hub, and the e-resources are given excess to throughout the campus through its robust network infrastructure. VITS strongly emphasizes the physical fitness of the students through modern gym facilities and sports facilities like indoor games, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts. The IT infrastructure of the institute is one of the best, with more than 600 personal computers connected under a campus-wide LAN to make the latest software and technology tools available for students to utilize in the course of their studies.

VITS offers versatile courses suiting varied interests and aspirations for professional excellence in careers. Four undergraduate B.Tech Programs are offered:  Electrical Engineering; Computer Science and Engineering;  Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The institute offers 3 M.Tech programs, which include Digital Communication, Advanced Production Systems, and Computer Science and Engineering for advanced studies. Other courses the institute offers include a Master of Computer Applications program and diploma courses in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

VITS has devised a transparent and exhaustive admission process to filter the right candidates for various programs offered in the institution so that merit holders can get an opportunity for pursuing their desired programs. In the B.Tech level programme, the institute mainly admits students through Joint Entrance Examination JEE(Main), which is a nationally renowned entrance examination in the field of engineering. This is in tandem with the institute's pledged commitment to maintaining high academic standards. GATE scores are considered for postgraduate programs like M.Tech.
