Established in 1984, Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology (VESIT) is a private institute affiliated with the University of Mumbai, and accredited with an A grade. VESIT courses are offered in the Engineering and Architecture, Computer Application, and IT streams. The VESIT Mumbai course list includes B.E Computer Engineering, B.E Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, B.E Automation and Robotics, M.E Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Ph.D. Electronics Engineering courses. VESIT Mumbai admissions to UG programmes are based on results of JEE Main/MHT CET exams and the counselling process whereas, for PG courses, only merit in the previous exams is considered.
VESIT Mumbai placement cell ensures that the candidates are placed in reputed companies. The training and placement cell offers career development including workshops, industry talks, industry-based projects, industry visits, and many other activities. The VESIT Mumbai facilities include a library, health centre, laboratories, and cafeteria. There are separate hostel accommodations for boys and girls and an alumni association for networking facilities. The candidates can also enjoy different amenities like a guest house/waiting room, a gym and sports facilities.
